Our activities are planned to meet each individuals need, stimulate intellectual skills and to encourage socialization. Our staff are committed to helping each client grow and reach their individual level of success.
PROGRAMS
ADULT DAY SERVICES
Rae's Playze provides an organized day program which supports the adult's independence and promotes his or her social, emotional, physical and spiritual well being. We provide a comfortable, friendly homelike environment. Participants progress is monitored by qualified staff daily. Monthly meetings are held to ensure each client is receiving exceptional care and staff are helping clients work towards their full potential. Food service includes a nutritional lunch each day, plus two snacks according to the client's diet.
DAY SUPPORT SERVICES (Group and Individual)
Our Day Support Program works towards the acquisition, retention or improvement of self help, socialization and adaptive skills. Our Day Support Program is furnished in a non-residential setting, separate from home or facility where the participant resides. Day Support focuses on enabling the participant to attain or maintain his or her maximum functioning level. Our staff works collaboratively with any physical, occupational, or speech therapies listed in the Individual Support Plan. Case Management and transportation maybe included as a part of this service.
Rae's Playze is able to provide Day Support services to participants in the Innovations Waiver program program.
RESIDENTIAL SUPPORTS/AFL
Residential Support Services consist of an integrated array of individually designed training activities, assistance and supervision. This program's focus is on allowing the participant to improve his or her ability to reside as independently as possible in the community. Residential supports are provided to individuals who live in a community residential setting.
RESPITE (Group/ Individual/ B3)
Rae's Playze is excited to announce our Community Respite program. Through Respite we are able to provide participants a safe place in the community where they can take participants on a short term basis. While utilizing respite services, caregivers can be confident their loved one is receiving care with the same compassion and attention they would have at home. Our respite program provides a positive experience for our participants while they are apart from their primary caregiver.

SERVICE MONITORING
All Staff members are certified and trained in CPR, First Aide, Client Confidentiality and Client's Rights. Staff undergo Physical Examinations, TB Tests, criminal background checks and random drug testing. Staff receive continuing education training. All of which are required by the State of North Carolina.

Rae's Playze Adult Day Center is apart of the USDA Food program which serves hot meals including breakfast, lunch, and snack.

In each of our continual services, annual team meetings are scheduled with the participant, Administration, Caregivers, Social Workers and other supportive staff to discuss the participant's progress while in our care and any changes that can improve the participant's independence and quality of life. We take great pride in the work we do and the service we provide. We ensure each client receives the best possible care at Rae's Playze.
