Ruby Works, Executive Director
Ms. Works is a native of St. Petersburg, Florida and has worked with the elderly population for the past 45 years in private duty part-time as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She has worked with the mentally challenged population for the past 17 years. Ms. Works obtained her degree in Accounting in 2005. She is the proud mother of two (2) daughters who are very successful and a grandmother of four (4). She is very passionate about being able to help other people and bring some joy to someone else other than herself. It was an inspiration for many years to start a business that served this community and offer therapeutic services for the elderly and those with mental and physical challenges. Rae’s Playze has been therapy for many clients. Her goal is that Rae's Playze will continue to provide exemplary services to each and every consumer that is apart of the Center.
Madeline Hadley, LPN
Madeline Hadley is one of our on site nurses. She is a graduate of Central Piedmont Community College and has worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for more than 40 years. She retired from Ortho Carolina in 2009. She is the proud mother of 2 children and a grandmother. Nurse Hadley has always had a passion to work with seniors and has always been a caring individual. This is what inspired her to become a nurse.
Cindy Ghazal, Assistant Director
Cindy is a native of Erie, Pa; happily married and the proud mother of 2 great children and one (1) grandson. Their family relocated to Charlotte, NC in 1994. Cindy worked as a Child Care Center Director for 20 years and decided to change careers in 2010. She began working with the elderly and handicap population at her church. While working with them, she recognized that this was her true calling. Cindy is a very compassionate and loving person and is very eager to make a difference in the lives of others here at Rae’s Playze.
